Abstract

Sander developed a proposal, that continues his research in Sustainable Energy Sculpture. The object that can produce electricity through tidal movement would enhance life quality, wellbeeing and sustainability by connecting technology and art. It was shortlisted for publishing in a catalogue together with 30 international artists. In February 2014, Cape Farewell launched a major international sculpture commissioning prize in partnership with Tidal Lagoon Swansea Bay. The task was to develop a concept proposal for a major piece of sculpture to be sited within the footprint of the Tidal Lagoon
