    Abstract

A 70 minute film telling the stories of eleven survivors of South African apartheid. This tapestry of testimonies addresses the legacy of the racist regime and the campaign for reparations, as promised by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. A collaboration between the Human Rights Media Centre, Cape Town, Khulumai Western Cape, and Royal Holloway University, the film is a powerful portrayal of the individuals' and communities' attempts to overcome enormous obstacles to their dignity and survival. Screened at international film festivals in Durban, Cape Town, Zanzibar and Belfast. Also broadcast on the UK's Community Channel.
