Abstract
This is a qualitative study that aims to understand the psychosocial needs of AYA (15-24 years) with cancer on the island of Ireland. This research is funded by the Children's Cancer Unit Charity, Northern Ireland and through the School of Psychology, Ulster University. The criteria for participants is that they have had a first time cancer diagnosis, while living in Northern Ireland or Republic of Ireland aged 15-24 years. They can be 3months to 5 years post treatment and the cancer is viewed to be curative.
