Abstract
'Total Immersion' is a short 360° Virtual Reality (VR) film that tells the story of a VR expert who loses her memory and re-discovers the 'total immersion' offered by books. The film encourages reflection on what 'immersion' means and how new VR tools build on existing immersive media forms such as the novel.
