Abstract

This sequence of three poems of welcome is addressed by Domhnall Gorm Mag Lachlainn to Mac Con [Ó Domhnaill?], who belonged to the final generation of Ulster's professional Irish scholars. The poems are one of the very few examples of literature in Irish to have survived from the Inishowen peninsula in north eastern county Donegal.
