Abstract

The TG83 is an international collaboration forum established to generate a programme of actions directed at identifying best practice and promoting e-business in construction. It was established in March 2011 with the objectives of conducting joint research with interested parties, to appraise and promote the use of web-based technologies for collaboration and e-business in construction, and to provide a forum for discussion, debate and the evaluation of technologies, research and concepts in the area. This survey and the report have been produced as a key output of TG83 in association with Construct IT for Business. The survey for the United Kingdom was conducted jointly by Ulster University and Northumbria University and the report was published by Construct IT for Business on behalf of the TG83 working group.
