Abstract

Exhibited in 'Making Space', a selected 62 Group exhibition held at Macclesfield Silk Museum in 2016

This work considers the importance of creating the space and time to make work and also the importance of compositional space in an artwork.

It is the first in a series of work which attempts to reassess what is important, what might have been lost and what must be re- discovered and considers the role of the artist as educator.

It was selected for the 62 Group exhibition 'Making Space' held at Macclesfield Silk Museum in 2016. Further work in this series was selected for exhibitions in the Ukraine, Italy and France.
