Abstract
'The Maidens' City Project is a gendered narrative of the Walled City of Derry. Taking 'The Maiden City' title as a starting point, the project explores the history and lives of the 'Maidens' of the city in various art forms including walking tours, a script, dramatized performances on the Walls and video documentation of 'The Maidens' City: a Herstory of the Walled City .The dramatized walking tour , 'The Maidens' City: A Herstory of The Walled City' featured in the City of Culture 2013 programme.
