Abstract
This piece outlines my formulation of a new clinical concept, 'the culture-breast', and its importance for clinical practice in psychoanalysis and psychotherapy. The piece also considers the emotional and unconscious uses people have made of cultural objects (film, art, literature, music) as a way to manage their psychological distress during the Covid-19 pandemic.
