The Bill of Rights and All-Island Charter of Rights

Research output: Book/ReportOther report

Abstract

This paper argues that in the post-Brexit rights and equality landscape in Northern Ireland is becoming an incoherent mess, with the existing piecemeal and ad hoc approach continuing to cause confusion and uncertainty. The paper argues that this makes the case for advancing an effective and overarching Bill of Rights even stronger. The paper is part of a conference report entitled 'A Renaissance of the Peace Process? What kind of society do we need?'
