The Belfast Boom or Bust Pub Quiz

Research output: Non-textual formExhibition

Abstract

The Belfast Boom or Bust Pub Quiz was an alternative pub quiz took place in The Rose and Crown Bar, Belfast. The material for the quiz was culled from my ongoing collection of vernacular, unofficial information about the city, with a humerous focus on ways of coping with the ailing economy. The interest in unofficial information stems from a concern regarding the politics of how place is described at a local level.Participants were presented with souvenir limited edition posters at the end of the night. The project was part of Catalyst Arts Capitalist Arts Event.
