Abstract
Over recent decades there has been an explosion in the scientific literature relating to sedentary behaviour from epidemiological research measuring the prevalences, distributions, exposures and outcomes of sedentary behaviour across differing populations through to the implementation of interventions to reduce sedentary behaviour in varying settings and across varying populations.
