Abstract

Sensor TEehnology and Devices Ltd, a sensor-based business spun out from the University of Ulster in Belfast 7 years ago, has found that a specific set of technologies it has developed during that period now sits at the epicentre of a well defined clinical/technological watershed. Wireless vital signs monitoring solutions have moved from development to clinical trial to the excitement of both the healthcare and technology communities.
