Abstract

Liston and Lane examine gender equality efforts and sports
in Ireland. They discuss the Women’s Gaelic Players’ Association (WGPA) as a voice for female athletes and other such interventions regarding women in sports. Liston and Lane conclude with an overview of the challenges still to overcome within the culture of sports.
