The chapter also considers future trends, including new sports, eSports, and lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic. Finally, it reflects on the legacy potentials of sport events and tourism for hosting cities, emphasizing the need for inclusive practices to ensure broad participation and enjoyment.
