This exhibition drew upon the work previously curated at the Smithsonian Institute - 'Reinventing linen' in 2009 and profiled contemporary cultural considerations in linen artwork in the Musee Regional de Kamouraska - context. The significance to the region was highlighted. This remote stretch along the river Lawrence retains a strongly connection with immigrant ships from Ireland and the region shares a linen and textile heritage. The exhibition co-incided with the Biennale du Lin de Portneuf.
