Abstract

In this episode Gillian McNaull interviews Graham Ellison and Caoimhe Ní Dhónaill on their recent report: – ‘A review of the criminalisation of paying for sexual services in Northern Ireland’. They set out the context and scope of sex work in Northern Ireland before implementation of the Nordic Model which criminalises the purchase of sexual services, and discuss their findings of its impact upon sex workers, their safety, and conviction rates.
