Abstract
This paper examines the duplication of education in Northern Ireland, and the sustainability of current arrangements. The options available to schools, to help to create a sustainable education system and sustainable communities, are examined: Same Sector Amalgamation, Jointly Managed Church Schools, Federation or Transformation to Integrated Status.
