Abstract

After social progress into the 21st Century, the conception of social movements and their multiple interpretive overtones delve into the consciousness and discursive semantics of society. For that reason, the study of the mutual influence of the cognitive frameworks of the social movements México 68, #YoSoy132 and 15M,based on identity, will conform an important stock of semantic resources that society, particularly young students, will dispose of in order to understand social movements themselves as well as the world “outside”. Therefore it is important to ask: what are these identity frames? How is the relationship between what the movements express and society’s representations constructed? And what is the relationship between social movements separated in time and/or space? This study, revising theory and applying tools of qualitative research, will trace a thread between the identity basis of México 68, #YoSoy132 and 15M, how this relates to the representations that the young students have of them as well as the resonances and links between cognitive frameworks over time and space.
