Abstract

The RealTime Conference brings together leaders and innovators in real-time across industries and around the globe to share and spur the myriad ways in which real-time is changing the ways we work, play and live. The conference featured live panel discussions, Q&A and chat, networking breaks and a Virtual Meet-With-The-Speakers “Real-time technology is having a major impact on several industries, but there is a natural tendency for experts to remain within their own communities – that’s where the RealTime Conference comes in,” said Jean-Michel Blottière, former executive director of FMX and co-founder of the RealTime Conference. “Our goal is to bring together real-time experts, innovators, creatives, and decision-makers from these different communities to find unexpected connections and to help shape the industry for years to come.” Maguire was invited speaker by Christophe Héry – Research Scientist – Facebook Reality Lab. He presented as a Panel member and delivered a presentation for Tele Presence / Avatars / Intelligent Agents / Digital Humans panel., titled Real-Time Facial Development with regards to the Facial Action Coding system. The presented movie was first seen publicly at the Real Time conference in Paris at the Digital Human Panel chaired by Mike Seymour.
