Proceedings of the 9th European Conference on Innovation and Entrepreneurship

The 9th European Conference on Innovation and Entrepreneurship was co-hosted by the University of Ulster Business School and the School of Social Enterprises Ireland. The theme of the conference was societal-driven innovation and entrepreneurship. The conference took place in Belfast Assembly Buildings, Belfast, Northern Ireland on the 18th and 19th September 2014. The conference and programme chair was Dr Brendan Galbraith. Conference co-chairs included Dr Sandra Moffett (University of Ulster) and Professor Ken O'Neill and Professor Jackie McCoy. The programme co-chair was Professor Paul Humphreys. The keynote speakers included: Michael Pyner (Social Entrepreneur and Creative Advisor), Dr Stephen E. Cross (Executive Vice President of Research, Georgia Institute of Technology, USA), Father Myles Kavanagh CP, co-founder of Flax Trust) and Roberto Santoro (President of the European Society of Concurrent Engineering Network).
