Abstract

Emphasizing sophisticated methods to safeguard user information and guarantee privacy, this chap- ter explores user anonymity and privacy-preserving technologies in the Metaverse. Important subjects include differential privacy for data exchange, federated learning for artificial intelligence, safe multi- party computing for group projects, and virtual world anonymity methods. This chapter also investigates the harmony between security and privacy, ethical issues and future developments in metaverse privacy protection. Moreover, this chapter offers a thorough review of Metaverse privacy-preserving techniques.
