Abstract

A group exhibition of invited printmakers for Munsterland Print Festival, Kloster Bentlage, & Forum Altes Rathaus, Borken, Germany. The project and exhibition included: Clare Buchmann-Stubbs (CH), Aristea Charoniti (GR), Dr. Majella Clancy (GB), Cathrine Dahl & Orjan Aas (NO), Alessia De Bortoli (IT), Besik Kharanauli (GA), Magdalena Kjartansdottir (IS), Agnieszka Koziarz (PL), Louis Reith (NL), Rita Gaspar Vierira (PT). The work exhibited reflected my ongoing concerns of simplifying the imagery and forms present in my collage works (that deal with class and gendered space) through formal concerns of layering and working with space and form. For this exhibition I presented a series of 12 screenprints.
As part of this project I also delivered an academic paper on my printmaking practice at their partner institution AKI Academy of Art and Design, Enschede, Netherlands on 9th October 2019.
