Abstract
Poetry Reading and Performance of Mustangs, with guitar accompaniment by John T Davis, at Music and Poetry on the Douro: An International Seminar, Covela, Portugal, September 9, 2015. with musicians John T Davis, Sam R Gibson and CP Lee. McCracken performed Mustangs to guitar accompaniment by John T Davis. Mustangs is a book-length sequence of three-line poems which narrate the story of a shape-shifting drifter travelling through the North American West. It is a performance piece on which I am accompanied on guitar by John T. Davis and dobro by Colin Henry.
