Abstract
The Covid-19 pandemic is one of the largest pandemics the world has faced, considering its scope and impacts. In addition to the problems encountered in public health, sexual and reproductive health services were among the health services that had difficulty accessing throughout the pandemic. Assoc. Dr. The “Sexual and Reproductive Health Services Monitoring Report in Turkey Before and During the Pandemic”, written by Volkan Yılmaz, makes important findings by bringing up this problem that has not been revealed yet. According to the report, with the pandemic, there were serious disruptions in accessing maternity services in public hospitals, especially in metropolitan cities, due to reasons such as long distances, avoidance of public transportation, and the directing of structure and human resources to combat the pandemic.
