Abstract

The present invention relates to catalysts for use in, inter alia, fuel cells. In particular, the invention relates to catalysts for the oxygen reduction reaction in fuel cells, and most particularly to non-metallic catalysts for the oxygen reduction reactions in fuel cells. The invention also relates to fuel cells comprising said catalysts and to the use of said catalysts in the catalytic reduction of oxygen at the cathode of fuel cells.
