O'Neill, Sir Neil (Niall) (1657/8–1690), 2nd baronet, Jacobite army officer, was born in December 1657 or January 1658, the eldest son of Henry O'Neill of Shanes castle, Co. Antrim, elevated to the baronetcy of Killelagh on 23 February 1666, and Eleanor Talbot, sister of Richard Talbot, earl of Tyrconnell (qv).
