Abstract

My work Domestic Drift is part of this challenging group exhibition around the subject of home in Ireland. A number of key themes anchor the exhibition - home and family, migration and displacement, and institutions and housing. My work is used to explore notions of the mother in Irish culture, particularly in view of recent legislative changes around women's reproductive rights and considering the impact of pandemic lockdowns on women.
