Movilla High School - Steel School Gates

Abstract

These School gates were constructed in Powder Coated Plate Steel with laser Cut imagery. The gate imagery was designed in collaboration with school children and their parents. Images from the school curriculum were laser-cut from Plate Steel panels, which make up the gate structure. The letters were created in aluminum and enameled copper made by the staff, children, and parents. The work was created with assistance from Lottery and The Department of Education. NK Fencing in Carrickfergus made the Gate structure.
