Abstract

This is a recording of a lecture given at the Irish Museum of Modern Art 05.12.2018, now available on IMMA's soundcloud channel. Artist Louise Wallace discusses themes of gender, interior space, domesticity and women’s labour that characterise some of the most definitive works comprising of the IMMA exhibition 'Mary Swanzy, Voyages'.
