Abstract

Luttrell, Simon (1643–98), Jacobite soldier and governor of Dublin, was eldest among four sons of Thomas Luttrell of Luttrellstown, Co. Dublin, and his wife Barbara, daughter of William Sedgrave; he was elder brother of Henry Luttrell (qv), with whom he spent some time at the French court.
