Abstract
Les EnFonts is a book and accompanying CD-ROM. Edited and designed by Liam McComish, the book catalogues and discusses the outcomes of an ambitious design programme relating font design to modular geometric principles of design education. This is an unusual and ground-breaking project for undergraduate design education. The roots of the project lie in the integration of modular geometric principles in design education and the improved accessibility to type construction made possible by advances in digital design tools. The results are contained in this book and accompanying disk. Their visual simplicity is reflective of their origin in geometric shapes and you can read more about the design process in the book. The fonts are in Truetype format and can be installed by dropping into your system font folder.
