Abstract

The development of a disposable immunosensor based on a hybrid gold-carbon screen printed electrode array is described. The electrodeposition of gold is shown to lead to a field of nanocrystals that facilitates antibody immobilization and enhances electron transfer. A label free analysis protocol based on ferrocyanide has been developed for the detection of Prostate Specific Antigen in the fg/mL range.
