Abstract
The third edition of Irish Ceramics is a 300 page hardback book printed, designed and produced in Ireland. It includes the largest compilation ever recorded of Irish Ceramic Artists working today. It is a pictorial record of great significance and as previous books have proven an essential and important showcase and marketing tool for those artists included in the book.
'I Pray for Rain' and 'I Saw You Laughing' were part of material investigations exploring the contrasting properties of ceramic and glass through the processes of slip-casting, glass blowing and glass slumping.
These works were selected for inclusion in this publication through a call for entries from Mill Cover Gallery by contemporary ceramic artists and designers.
