Abstract

This Policy Brief presents a theoretically-informed, evidence-based and context-sensitive set of five recommendations for integration in Gaelic Games. It is underpinned by (i) a review of merger research in corporate and public sectors, including business, education and sport; (ii) a case study of the formation of Golf Ireland as a new entity from two single-sex organisations, since dissolved, and (iii) consideration of the gendered context of Gaelic games in Ireland.
