Abstract
The use of flow microcalorimetry to study the kinetics of urea hydrolysis catalyzed by urease bound to porous glass (CPG) particles is described. The present approach involves measurement of the average, rather than initial, rate of reaction. The external and internal effectiveness factors and the intrinsic Michaelis constants for immobilized urease have been determined
