Abstract
This article argues that as a result of the proliferation of digital cultures in which streaming is increasingly affordable and accessible across the globe – the fashion film has become a ubiquitous part of any fashion campaign. It looks at examples of fashion films for Mugler, Balenciaga and Gucci. It also considers the pioneering work of Nick Knight's digital platform SHOWstudio.
