Abstract

The development of a novel medical device concept for patients presenting with suspected neck of femur fracture. Utilising Ulster University's state of the art rapid prototyping facilities including laser cutting and FDM printing technologies, a series of prototypes were manufactured and tested. This ICURe funded project was a collaboration between the School of Nursing and Paramedic Science and Belfast School of Art.
