Abstract
A critical overview of current and emerging electrochemical strategies being developed to facilitate drug delivery at the micro-nano scale is presented. The adaptation and implementation of functional electromolecular materials is discussed and their importance to the enhancement of delivery methods and treatment outcome is assessed.
