Abstract
Building on previous experience of course and curriculum design this article reflects on the motivation and design of a new degree I introduced at QUB called 'Broadcast Production'. Looking to a constructivist paradigm the article explores the challenges of curriculum design that meets both the academy's approval and has buy from the creative industries. Example of the innovative assessment design is also discuss.
