Abstract

Joint Exhibition at LJMU Design and Arts Academy , Liverpool (as part of Liverpool's first international photography festival, Look 11) included ‘Conflicting Accounts’ by Paul Seawright which plays with the idea of layering the narrative about the Troubles in Northern Ireland. Looking at the, often conflicting, history of the Troubles, Seawright takes imagery found within the urban landscape of both parties, loyalist and protestant and nationalist and catholic and highlights the continuous writing and re-writing of history.

Other artist exhibiting was Victor Sloan.
