Abstract
Conradh na Gaeilge has played a pivotal role in advocating for the visibility and promotion of the Irish language in Council Areas in Northern Ireland. This paper explores the organisation's sustained campaigns aimed at embedding Irish in public life, signage, education, media, and digital spaces, and the varying policies in the Council's in Northern Ireland. Through its multifaceted approach, the organisation has significantly influenced policy and public attitudes towards Irish, positioning it not merely as a cultural emblem but as a living, visible language in everyday society.
