Abstract
This course guide aims to inspire teachers and their course participants to utilise a blended learning approach in the classroom. It contains course modules that can be offered as online courses, face to face courses, or blended courses covering CALL theory and detailed instruction on the use of CALL authorware. This guide enables users to provide tailor made courses catering to the varied learning styles and needs of professional client groups.The guide has a flexible format with a suite of modules allowing individual participants to focus on their specialist interests while ensuring coverage of basic, essential competence. Learning outcomes are clearly articulated for each module and users are signposted to interrelated modules. Course participants are immediately presented with a concrete example of the skills which they can gain, which is motivating and clear.
