Abstract

Abstract: This article, prompted by finding an ancient burial urn, using L ´ evi-Strauss and Mumford as principal guides, traces some connections between the artifactual, the ritualistic, the mythic, and the poetic to speculate on forms of literary and constitutional order in the Irish context.
