Abstract

Ulster University architecture students were visited this month by Dr Hendrik Auret, AssociateProfessor from The University of the Free State, Bloemfontein, South Africa. Dr Auret shared withthe students a unique method of site analysis which he has developed across schools ofarchitecture in Southern Africa. This article showcases the UU student’s application of thetechnique to explore Belfast city centre sites as part of their own design assignments.
