Abstract
Ulster University Economic Policy Centre (UUEPC) were commissioned by the Belfast Region City Deal (BRCD) group of councils to report on the future skill needs of the Belfast Region City Deal area. The empirical approach is based directly upon UUEPC’s forecasting methodology employed in the Northern Ireland (NI) Skills Barometer.
This report summarises the key results and messages from the assessment of future skills demand, and review of supply side indicators relating to the BRCD area. The report also provides background economic context which underpins the skillsforecasts.
