Abstract

This large scale survey exhibition constituted a major exploration of art made within the context of the political history of Northern Ireland. The exhibition was divided into five discreet themes that explored the time line of the Troubles: Conflict, Circumstance, Captured, Community and Continuance. The work that was selected from my practice for inciusion in this exhibiton came under the theme of, 'Continuance'. This thematic, which focused on art made post Good Friday Agreement, explored how artists are still engaging with the legacy of the Troubles and its impact on the present and future.
