Abstract

An overview of buildings in the city of Dublin with significant ceramic features, decoration and detailing. From brick and tile work to sculpted terracotta friezes. Created during the CoVid 19 5km travel restriction of 2021, in Dublin, Ireland. The paper examines the relevance of these buildings and their detailings from (material) cultural, historical and occasionally political perspectives.
