Abstract

The aim of this research is to evaluate the current level of emergency obstetric care (EmOC) education and training within a medic program, being delivered in a remote, fragile region of Southeast Asia. It will explore the contextual and cultural factors impacting on the acceptability and feasibility of various educational and training approaches in that setting. This will aid in the identification of potential areas of enhancement to improve the management of obstetric emergencies.
