Abstract

Handbuilt clay form created during individual residency at the Banff Centre, Canada 2008. Exhibited in 'Departures' Solo touring exhibition by M. Moore, commissioned by the Millennium Court Arts Centre. With funding from the Arts Council of Northern Ireland and the University of Ulster research Institute.The piece was featured in Reviews in Peer Review Journals including Studio Ceramics (USA) 2010, Keramik Magazin Europa (GDR) 2010 and Ceramics Art and Perception (USA/AUS) 2010.At the conclusion of the Departures exhibition 'Acrobat' was acquired for the permanent collection of the National Museum of Ireland(NMI) under the joint purchase scheme of the NMI and the Crafts Council of Ireland.
